Data Centers
My primary opponent, Chris Muntz, want big data centers all over Delaware. I do not.
I’ve helped lead the fight against big data centers in Delaware—cosponsoring important legislation, holding and attending data center town halls, and educating Delawareans about their many negatives.
Mr. Muntz claims that data centers lower electric bills and bring long-term, high-quality jobs. He says, “Every delay tells investors and job creators that Delaware is closed for business. We’re not stopping this. I mean, this is another industrial revolution.” He says data centers are worth it even if they bring only “one hour of work” to Delaware. He even calls guardrails surrounding data centers “roadblocks.”
I disagree.
